Studio 13
Studio 13 is a peer-led social-emotional learning program for middle school students. Each session places a small group inside a scene from a novel — a moment of grief, rage, shame, or wonder — where they encounter an antagonist who pushes, and a Fire Keeper who holds the space. Students don't analyze the emotion. They enter it, argue with it, and find their way back out. The goal is a kind of emotional literacy that can only be built by going somewhere real and returning intact.
